Last Day of Work

What a year it has been!  Last day of work.  Looking forward to going home tonight to bake cookies with my little cookie monsters.  Being lazy this year and doing a Williams-Sonoma mix.

Maple Roasted Butternut Squash with Brussel Sprouts and Bacon

Hosted a dinner party this past weekend and everyone raved over my friend Carmela's recommendation of Maple Roasted Butternut Squash with Brussels Sprouts and Bacon.   The recipe can be found here - enjoy!  Forgot to take a photo of it, but here are some other fun things I made.

Winter Wonderland in Westchester

Trying my best to keep my head on straight, but not going to lie the past few months have been complete and utter chaos!  I have been busy with work travel (Brazil, Hong Kong and London!) the past few weeks AND had a problem logging in to blogger which explains the reason for my absence.


I hope to be back on and posting more often.   Last weekend we went to Westchester's Winter Wonderland.  I had heard mixed things in the past, but they apparently have evolved it and I highly recommend it!  It's cheap (5 and under are free and everyone else is $15/pp).  It includes skating, santa visit, some rides, light show.  Extras include camel rides, pony rides and some fun food, beer and wine trucks.  Great event if you are in the area!






Some old school Springsteen is the tune of the day!
