It really is a cool idea.
In other news my kids picked about dozen tomatoes from our garden, plus a big zucchini and basil.
I used one jar of bionaturae strained tomatoes and pureed it with an onion, the zucchini and half the tomatoes. Put in the crock pot along with the rest of the tomatoes chopped up and basil.
We'll serve it with the red lentil pasta I mentioned in the past (absolutely no ingredients in it except red lentils and the kids love it!).
Easiest and freshest dinner ever!
