I learned so much during yesterday's Women in Leadership Forum and it's impossible to distill it down to little sound bites, but I will try.
I don't have a ton of time to write today, so went through my notes to find this quick Get It Done Tip from the forum. A leader communicates with confidence - speaks loudly, clearly and slowly. When presenting you should always use at least one or two of these tools for engaging you audience:
- wit
- element of surprise
- emotion
- passion
- humor
- wonder
- curiosity
Use storytelling to capture your audience.
